Super Llama: Llamas are awesome! (25)
My Bio
I'm a pretty quiet and laid back guy, even when stress from college is really ripping me to shreds inside. I love a good laugh anytime, especially after a bad day or when I think studying is going to give me a heart attack.

Fittingly, most of my favorite TV shows are sitcoms. Other than sitcoms, I like to watch a few game shows. I can't stand dramas. All of my favorite shows are Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, Two and a Half Men, The Jay Leno Show, My Name is Earl (which should have stayed on NBC instead of that stupid Community show), The Office, Saturday Night Live, America's Funniest Home Videos, and The Simpsons.

I've been playing video games ever since I was five years old, and as a result, my health isn't exactly in tip-top shape. My first system was a Genesis, which has made me a loyal Sonic fan for as long as I can remember. After the Genesis "bit the dust", I got a GameCube. Though I still enjoyed Sonic games, I picked up a love for the Mario and Zelda, franchises. In addition, I picked up an addiction to the Guitar Hero franchise when I got a Wii. I am also a Rayman fan. That started with playing Rayman 2 on my PC.

I don't expect to rival most of you Deviants in terms of my art. Though I have been drawing for fun my whole life, I'm not exactly da Vinci material. I just like to sketch some of my favorite video game characters and sometimes even create new ones.

I do play a couple of sports, as you can see under my Devious Info. While I'm not very good, I enjoy bowling, so I attend any bowling nights that Penn State Shenango hosts (as long as my friends go). I've been swimming since I was in a diaper, but for fun rather than a sport. I guess I have my parents to thank for that, because it's THE reason why I always look forward for summer. I'm just learning to golf. I figured that since I aspire to be a lawyer, I should learn the nuts and bolts of the sport.

As I said above, I play Guitar Hero games, which means I love to listen to music, especially rock. To be more specific with my tastes, I'll listen to anything except rap (I make an exception for His World from Sonic '06, possibly the only good thing from the game. Also, I THINK I may like No Sleep 'Til Brooklyn by the Beastie Boys), hip-hop, choir (which means I can't stand the Smash Bros. Brawl main theme), opera, and certain metal songs. There are a few bands I do like a lot, namely Ozzy Osbourne, Jimmy Buffett, and Joe Satriani.

My love for music actually started in high school, wherein I was in the marching, pep, and concert bands. One song we played during my freshman year was Ozzy Osbourne's Crazy Train. One day I was exploring YouTube (which I was recently addicted to at the time) when I found a music video for one of my favorite anti-heroes: Venom from the Spider-Man franchise. Once the video started up, it started with someone yelling, "ALL ABOARD!" and then laughing. Then there was a familiar riff. The title of the song didn't hit me until the chorus line. It was Crazy Train! And I loved the song! Much later in my life, I bought the Guitar Hero 3 bundle. This game changed my life because it would officially turn me into the huge music fan that I am today.

New account

I said in my previous journal entry that I was thinking about making a new account. If you pay attention to this account, you might want to consider doing the same on my new one. You can find my new account at jumpingkumquat.deviantart.com. Note that this account will see mature content uploaded to it as well as guilty pleasures. The same will be said for my favorites.

This is just something that the few of you who are nice enough to watch this crappy account may like to know. I have a few reasons for doing this, but the main reason why is because I want a fresh start here. I promised myself that I would be more "outgoing" on deviantART, meaning that I will make a serious effort to comment on deviations I like and favorite as necessary. I haven't exactly been doing that. I have also wanted to update more frequently. Fortunately, I think I found a way to get out of my artist's block. A book that I am reading said that writers that suffer writer's block essentially need to write their way out of the block. I

A little while ago, I posted in my journal an amateur review of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. After watching a mere one third of the trilogy, I had already called it one of the best things I have ever watched. I have now experienced the entirety of the story, and though I am not changing my mind about my initial thoughts, I feel my old review did not do proper justice. I shouldn't blame myself though, because it was my first ever review. I enjoyed the trilogy so much that I feel like a different person. It is now that I hope to discuss the trilogy after some serious effort in putting together a review. Probably the best
